Bluetooth adds delay

Where the delay comes from
Between your finger and the sound, the note travels from the keyboard to the computer, is processed by the app, then goes to the speakers. Each step adds a little time. A cable keeps the first step almost instant. Bluetooth MIDI adds a few milliseconds and can be irregular, and Bluetooth headphones can add a lot more on the last step.
How to test it
Play a key with the keyboard on USB and wired headphones or the computer speakers. If the delay disappears, Bluetooth was the cause. If it is still there, close other tabs and programs, plug the computer into power (some laptops slow down on battery) and restart the browser.
Settings that help on Mac and Windows
On a Mac, disable Low Power Mode while playing. On Windows, choose a high-performance power plan and avoid audio enhancements on your output device. In every case, keep the learning app in the active tab and window.
