Battery life on ROLI Piano M and LUMI Keys depends on the lights and Bluetooth. How to charge it, and how to play for hours without running out.

What uses the battery

The light-up keys and Bluetooth use the most power. Bright lights and wireless play empty the battery faster than playing over a cable with the lights dimmed.

How to charge it

Use the USB-C port. A wall charger is usually faster than a computer port. A completely empty battery can take a while before the keyboard turns on again, so leave it plugged in for a bit.

Play without running out

When you play over a USB-C cable connected to your computer, the cable also powers the keyboard. For long practice sessions, USB is the easiest way to never run out.
