Is LUMI Keys velocity sensitive?
Yes, LUMI Keys and ROLI Piano M respond to how hard you press. How velocity works and how to check it with a free online test.
Yes, it is
Like a real piano, LUMI Keys and ROLI Piano M send a different value depending on how hard you press a key. Soft presses sound quiet, strong presses sound loud.
How to check it
Open the free MIDI keyboard test and press a key softly, then strongly. The velocity number, from 1 to 127, should change each time.
If it never changes
If the number is always the same, a fixed velocity setting may be on in the keyboard settings. Reset it in ROLI's own settings, then test again.
